Dr. Brock is the proud owner and principal physician of Debut Aesthetics. After undergraduate studies at University of Toronto (International Relations) and McMaster (Biochemistry), he graduated from Queens Medical School in 1997 and went on to become dou- ble board certified in Family Medicine from UBC and subsequently Emergency Medicine from Dalhousie. In 2014, after 15 years as a staff physician at the bus- iest ER in Canada, he felt it was time for a new chal- lenge and trained for a career in aesthetic medicine. Over the last 10 years, he has seen more than 35,000 patients as the senior and expert injector at the largest privately owned clinic in Vancouver. He has presented at multiple conferences and also spoken for Allergan, Fillmed, Crescita, Revanesse, Prollenium and has been on the advisory board for Galderma. He has taught anatomy and filler courses and trained many other physicians in cosmetic procedures. Alissa has spent the past year training under Dr. Brock in the area of medical aesthetics; as an RN. She approaches medical aesthetics with a philosophy of enhancing natural beauty, ensuring clients look and feel rejuvenated with a refreshed appearance. Alissa is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner with a distinguished career spanning over 20 years. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 2001, she worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Palliative Care and Oncology. In 2006, Alissa advanced her expertise by obtaining a Master’s in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Toronto. Over the past 19 years, she has served as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in a variety of fields, including Dermatology, Primary & Complex Care, and medical consultation for inpatient psychiatry at BC Children’s Hospital and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.
